DICK FAMILY

Could there be anything cuter than a Grandpa asking for a family photo session with his beautiful wife and grandkids for his BIRTHDAY gift??!!  Yes, you heard me Grand-PA....no power tools, no shirts and ties, no golf clubs...PICTURES!!  So lucky me, I got to spend the morning with Bob & Laura and their 3 adorable grandchildren Kaylee, Tessa and Brayden!!  

Brayden loves his big cousins and they sure couldn't stop squeezing him (how could you resist??)

CHARMING BACKYARD WEDDING IN KIRKWOOD

Recently, I had the pleasure of 2nd shooting the most charming backyard wedding in Kirkwood with Amy Bennett....and boy did we have FUN!  First of all, Amy is awesome to work with.  She is professional, but laid back, and always welcomes a good solid LAUGH  (which is right down my alley!)  


To start out, she went with the bride to get her hair and makeup done and to get some shots of the girls getting ready, and I went to the house to capture some of the details and to wrangle up those rowdy boys....now that's what I call teamwork!  Lauren (bride) and Adam (groom) looked stunning and were so laid back and easy to work with...I just had to share some of my faves from their day!!      

The tent was set up for the guests to view the ceremony (see above) and then afterwards it was quickly transformed for dinner (see below), now that is efficiency!

JOHNSON FAMILY

Well my blogger friends, I am calling myself out....I've been slacking a bit on my "once a week" posting goal.  BUT I promise to make up for it with some good stuff....including a super fun wedding I shot with Amy Bennett and some adorable 9 month old TWINS (IF we don't get rained out this weekend).....stay tuned!!  

Okay so onto the stars of today's blog, the JOHNSON FAM...Brian, Sarah, Reagan & Addyson!!  Last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting this adorable family who was referred to me by a very good friend of mine.  After spending some time with them, I can totally see how they are all friends.  Brian and Sarah are so laid back and sweet so I wasn't surprised their little cuties were exactly the same way.  I was so excited to hold Reagan while her mommy hopped a fence to get "the shot" (hey she was good with it!), and Reagan even gave me a big hug on our way out...it's not hard to see how these girls stole my heart for the morning!  Enjoy a sneak preview of some of my faves :)   

I just started playing around with some new editing software and I love this new rustic look (left), it really makes Reagan's curious little personality sparkle!  Those EYES!!  You know I couldn't resist ;)

Since I have a boy, I am highly intrigued with all of the cute little gadgets and gizmos for girls.  Let's face it, there are far more options in the style department in PINK!  I just couldn't take my eyes off of Addy's little headband.  Maybe it's the way she was modeling for me, or maybe it was how it matched her shirt exactly, but either way it perfectly framed her cute little face!

Brian, Sarah, Reagan and Addy, thank you for letting me watch and capture your family and how sweet you all are when you interract with each other.  I had a great time with you and I hope you enjoy these memories for years to come!
